Edmonds, Jr. passed away April
8, 2011.
He was born December 4, 1943

Lawrence Edmonds, Sr. and Ella
Mae Edmonds. He grew up helping
his father in his Well Drilling
business. Larry attended grade school and high school in Barboursville,
WV. graduating in 1962. He spent several years in the Buckhannon,
Clarksburg and Grafton areas.
Larry later moved to Fairmont, WV where he was working for the
Southern Ohio Coal Co. as a mechanic/electrician. In 1983, Larry
began working for DBT America which is now known as Bucyrus.
During his 20 years with DBT America, one of Larry's greatest pleasures
was taking care of his clients. He was a service engineer and
became a district manager for the company.
During his last ten years with the company he was servicing mines
in Colorado, in particular the Twentymile Coal Mine in Oak Creek,
CO and also over the three mines in Somerset, CO.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Brenda Shumate
Edmonds; two sons, Michael L. Edmonds (Sherri) of Clovis, NM
and Justin Edmonds (Amber) of Delta, CO; two daughters, Tonya
White of Annapolis, MD, and Christina Fleming (Scott) of Irmo,
SC. He had seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Larry was
preceded in death by his mother, father, his brother, Blair Edmonds
and his youngest son, Donald Shayne Edmonds in 2007.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial service is scheduled for
Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah
Witness's on Jay Avenue in Cedaredge, CO.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Taylor Funeral
Service and Crematory.

of Charleston, W. Va.;
one sister, Virginia Jones of
Barboursville, W. Va.; seven
grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
