Juanita Faye Robinson went to
be with her Lord and Savior on
March 14, 2011. She was born
September 22, 1959, in Harrison,
Arkansas to Ralph and Mildred
Miller, she was the ninth of
eleven children.
After moving to Iowa in 1963,
then to Texas in 1967, the family
settled in Delta, Colorado in
1969.
Juanita married Jeffry Lynn Robinson on July 25, 1976 in Delta.
The couple had two beautiful daughters, Tana Nicole and Sheena
Rosanne.
Juanita attended Bookcliff Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday
School and touched so many lives.
Juanita was a wonderful artist. She drew pencil drawings and loved
to make her own Christmas cards.
She was one of the most caring people a person could know. She
loved to help others. Juanita loved her husband and children. She
had a very special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She
adored them very much.
Juanita is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Miller, and
brother, Charles Miller.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Jeff; her daughters, Tana
(Chuck) Shafer; Sheena (Pat) Dickenson; seven very special grandchildren,
Alex, MaddyJo, Makya, and Isaiah Shafer; Jonathan
Owens, and Abigail and Amelia Dickenson. She is also survived by
her mother, Mildred Miller; her sisters, Janet (Carron) Hickie; Carol
(Jim) Thompson, Marie (Gary) Williams, Dorothy (Gary) Wear, Diana
(Jim) Thuma, Mary (Garry) Roberts, and brothers, Floyd (Carol)
Miller, Ken (Jenn) Miller, Don Miller, and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held at Bookcliff Baptist Church, 2702 Patterson
Road, Grand Junction, CO on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:00
a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Cory Cemetery at 3:00
p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juanita
Robinson Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
