Longtime Resident Dorothy E. (Rollman) Bearden passed away at home in Burns on Feb. 24.
Dorothy loved being outdoors fishing and sitting around the campfire playing the “name game†with friends and family. She also loved sewing her quilts and many other items.
Born to Mabel and Earnest Rollman in Phippsburg on Feb. 26, 1942, she married Ross Bearden on Sept. 9, 1962.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Ross Bearden, children Allen Bearden, of Gypsum, Elizabeth and Dale Bitterman, of Wyoming, Earine Bearden, of Burns, Rose, of Burns; siblings Margaret Leggett of New Braunfels, Texas, Irene McCoy of Longmont, Louis and Marijane Rollman, of Colbert Wash., John and Betty Rollman of Boulder, Marian Skiles, of Denver, Steve And Kay Rollman, of Thornton, Elnora Stauffer, of Denver, many nieces and nephews, five grandchildren, Clea and Dustan Ingenthron, of Forsyth, Mo., Raelien and David Clark, of Forsyth, Mo., Darlene Bearden Forsyth, of Missouri, Treva Bitteman, of Wellington, Trey Bitterman, of Wyo., andgreat granddaughter Emma Ingnthron, of Forsyth Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother David Rollman. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Eagle. Pot luck reception will follow after the service. Please feel free to bring a dish.
All flowers will be donated to the Senior Center in Eagle, and persons wishing to make a memorial donation in the name of Rose Bearden may do so to any local charity.
