NELS NESTHOUSE DIED IN NORWAY.
Nels NESTHOUSE, former Minturn resident, died in Voss, Norway Monday at the age of 89.
Mr. NESTHOUSE had been making his home with a niece in Voss since his return to his native land several years ago. Among the Survivors are two sons, Louis of Eagle, and Ed of Amarillo, Tex.
Mr. NESTHOUSE's body will be returned to Eagle for burial.

Nels NESTHOUSE, a former resident of Gilman and Minturn, died in Norway March 13, 1972.
Mr. NESTHOUSE was born in Oslo, Norway on Feb. 24, 1883. He left Norway and came to the United States in 1914. After working as a farmer in Montana, he moved to Fargo, N.D., where he worked for the Great Northern Railroad.
In 1917, Mr. NESTHOUSE moved to Gilman. The native of Norway lived in Gilman and worked for the New Jersey Zinc Co. until he retired in 1951.
He moved to Minturn with his wife, Inger, in 1951. Mrs. NESTHOUSE died there in 1958. In 1960, Mr. NESTHOUSE returned to Norway where he lived with a niece, Mrs. Brita LUND, until his death.
He is survived by two sons, Louis NESTHOUSE of Eagle and Ed NESTHOUSE of Amarillo, Tex. One grandson, Albert NESTHOUSE of Houston, also survives.
Anita BORDEN of Austin, Tex., a granddaughter, survives along with two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews in Norway.
Graveside services were held Friday, May 19, 1972, at the Eagle Cemetery. The Rev. B. A. BOWDEN officiated. Mr. NESTHOUSE's cremated remains were buried beside his wife's grave in the Eagle Cemetery, after being sent from Norway.
