Jeanine White, longtime resident of Eagle County, passed away peacefully March 13 at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs after a long battle with heart disease. She was born April 1, 1942, and was preceded in death by her mother, Ila White; father Charles White; sister Carol White; and nephew Charles Vahillidal.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelly White; her two grandchildren, Mathew Overton, age 4, and Michael Shaw, age 24; her sister Mary Ellen; and brothers Jimmy and George.
For the last 11 years, she was loved and cared for by the staff of Ivy Cottage in Colorado Springs and her daughter, Shelly White, and son-in-law, Mathew L. Overton.
The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive in Colorado Springs. There will be a get-together at 2060 Pima Drive in Colorado Springs.
