Former Eagle County resident Earl "Pete" YOST, 93, died April 18 at Aurora Humana Hospital in Aurora.
Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, at the Eagle Community United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.
Mr. YOST was born Nov. 12, 1894, at Edwards to John and Lillian Yost. He farmed near Dotsero and later lived in Eagle. He worked as a heavy equipment operator with Eagle County for about 25 years. Recently, Mr. Yost had been living in Loveland.
He is a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Gypsum.
Mr. YOST was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel; and a son, Nels. He is survived by two sons, Zeke of Salida and Mick of Westminster; two daughters, Freda KELLOGG of Aurora and Betty NUNN of Loveland; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
