Debbie Morley of Hotchkiss,
CO passed away peacefully at her
home after putting up an incredible
12 year fight against ovarian
cancer. Debbie had just turned 63.
Debbie was born in Lincoln, NE
to Harold and Jacquelin Magninie.
She grew up in Colorado
Springs. She married her high
school sweetheart, Gary Morley.
They shared 46 years of marriage. They raised their three children in
New Castle, CO.
After raising her children, Debbie attended Mesa State College and
received her BSN in nursing. She touched many lives and was an
amazing nurse. She also took pride in the beautiful gardens she created
and lavished in the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren.
Debbie made her home in Colorado Springs, New Castle, Glenwood
Springs, Grand Junction and finally, Hotchkiss. She was quick
to make lasting friendships and nurtured them along the way.
Her family and friends are her legacy. She shared so much love and
touched so many with her grace and smile.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Harold. She is survived
by her husband, Gary Morley of Hotchkiss, CO; son, Timothy
(Joanne) Morley of New Castle, CO; daughter, Jennifer (Norm)
Morley of Grand Junction, CO; daughter, Kristian (Steve) Hill of
Hotchkiss, CO; and five grandchildren, Riley, Logan, and Laurel
Morley, and Nadia and Willa Hill.
A memorial service is planned for the 30th of April at the Crossroads
United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. The church is located at
599 30 Rd., Grand Junction, CO.
