85, Grand Junction, died April
20, 2011, at his home.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m.
Monday at the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-day Saints’ 11th
Ward Chapel. Services will be at
11 a.m. at the church. Burial will
follow in the Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. McCarty was a predator
controller.
Survivors include his wife,
Betty R. of Grand Junction;
one son, Terry of Hayden; one
daughter, Debra of Mesa, Ariz.;
one brother, Doug of Delta; one
sister, Marie Beougher of Grand
Junction; fi ve grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.

Longtime Hayden resident Herman McCarty passed away Wednesday morning at his home in Grand Junction. He was 85. A service is at 11 a.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2949 Highway 50, in Grand Junction. Interment is at 1 p.m. at the Colorado Veteran’s Cemetery in Grand Junction.
