Brooks Allen, recently of Palisade, Colorado was born August 31,
1927 in Ulysses, Kansas and passed away April 28, 2011.
He is preceded in death by wife, Allene; mother of his children,
and survived by daughters, Connie Wardwell, Greeley, CO and
Bonnie Buscaglia, Midland, TX, and son Jerry Allen, Palisade, CO.
He is also survived by wife, Marjorie of Palisade, CO and sister,
Joanne of Colorado Springs, eight grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren.
Brooks served his country in the Air Force as an air traffic controller
in the Phillipines following World War II and was a founding
member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Ulysses.
A viewing will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand
Junction, CO, from 2 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30. A graveside
service will be held in Ulysses, KS Tuesday, May 3.
