Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m.
Friday at Livingstone Church.
Burial will follow at New Elmwood

Mr. Fief was a lineman.

Lee D. Fief, age 65, of Grand
Junction passed away July 12,
2011 after a short battle with liver
cancer.
Lee was born January 14, 1946
in Garden City, Kansas. Lee and
his wife, Paulette Zahnter of Garden
City, Kansas were married in
Redding, California.
They lived in Garden City where
their three sons were born. They relocated to Scott City, Kansas
where Lee worked for Wheatland Electric before moving to Steamboat
Springs in 1972 where they lived for 35 years.
He retired from Yampa Valley Electric after working there for 33
years. Lee and his wife have lived in Grand Junction since 2007.
Lee loved living in Colorado and being in the mountains. He enjoyed
hunting, fishing and especially camping with family and
friends at Steamboat Lake.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, James and Irene Fief as
well as three brothers, Gerald, Larrance and Terrance.
He is survived by his wife and three sons, Leroy Fief of Craig;
Mike Fief of Dallas, Texas, and John Fief of Pueblo West; as well as
numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 7 - 9:00
p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction. The funeral
will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Livingstone
Christian Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Lee Fief
to the Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

Lee D. Fief, 65, of Grand Junction, passed away July 12, 2011, after a short battle with liver cancer.
