She was born September 5, 1910
to Andy and Ollie Davidson in

five, the family moved to Grand Valley (Parachute), Colorado. She
had six siblings who preceded her in death, Nita Davis, James, Robert,
Velma Powers, Winnie Benzel, and Nettie George.
Helen was married to Oliver David Davis in 1929 in Parachute and

In 1943 she divorced and moved back to Colorado where she supported

Her favorite was “Gallaghers” in Glenwood Springs, where
she worked for 14 years.
In 1966 she moved to Grand Junction where her parents and siblings
lived. She worked at Teller Arms Nursing Home, now Eagle

Over her long life, she had many interests. She was a seamstress,
gardener, rock collector, and loved to drive. She loved little children,
especially ones just learning to talk. Kittens, puppies and
chocolate candy always had a special place in her heart. Helen was a
member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Jones and Craig A. Gardner.
