Stella Pearl Moore, age 81, died
Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in
Overton, Nevada. She was born
August 22, 1929 in Meeker, Colorado
to Dewey and Sybil Hess.
On July 3, 1969 she married Jerry
Lavern Moore.
Stella grew up in Meeker, Colorado.
After raising children and
caring for aging parents she and
Jerry moved to Overton, Nevada
in 2002. Over the years, she enjoyed
spending time at their cabin
in Cimmaron, Colorado. Family
time, games, cooking and taking
care of her husband and children's
needs were the important things
in her life. She will be greatly
missed.
She is survived by her husband,
Jerry of Overton, NV; six sons
and three daughters, Rodney
(Linda), and Jimmy, both of
Amarillo, TX; Scot (Stephanie)
Stewart of Grand Junction, CO; JoLynn (Russ) Williams of Palisade,
CO; Mary June (Gary) Greenfield of Farmington, NM; Danny
Moore of KY; Carmen (John) Wallers of Washington; Roy (Sue)
Moore of Grand Junction; Frankie (Tammy) Moore of Grand Junction
and one sister, Linda (Bob) Kirkham of Hunstville, AL. She
was preceded in death by one son, Alan Stewart.
Graveside services will be held at Grand View Cemetery, Montrose,
CO. on Tuesday, August 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
