FUNERAL SERVICES HELD YESTERDAY FOR KARL REHDER

Karl REHDER, 49, prominent Routt County rancher, died unexpectedly Sunday after a short illness. He was stricken with polio-myelitis and lived but a short time.

Mr. REHDER was a native of Steamboat Springs and was born here July 27, 1903. He was a rancher and owned property in Steamboat and Phoenix, Arizona.

Funeral Services were held at the Root Mortuary yesterday afternoon with Rev. Clyde W. Broomell in charge. Pallbearers were Paul KUNT, Paul BRENNER, William ROSS, Oliver BARTHOLOMEW, Val JACOBS and L. L. BROWN.

Ben Gilbert sang "Nearer My God To Thee," and "Beautiful Isle." He was accompanied by Mrs. Gilbert.

Mr. REHDER served in World War II. He only recently had purchased the Grover Campbell ranch and adjoining Chura homestead on Deep creek.

He is survived by his brothers, Theodore and Henry, both of Steamboat.
