She grew up primarily in Hayden, CO and married William Lloyd Edwards at age 18. She loved gardening, canning, helping others, family dinners, her church, and raising her daughters. Evelyn also donated her time to the civil air patrol in Grand Junction, CO, and was on a bowling league which she very much enjoyed. She was a very hard worker who was very dedicated to raising her four daughters on her own. She was a very devoted grandmother, and always had something, especially candy to hand out to her grandkids. Nobody ever went hungry at her table; she was an awesome cook.
