Steamboat Pilot

Services were conducted for Grace Irene Fuller (Irene C. Fuller) Friday, October 24, 1975, at the Root Mortuary Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Father Leon Wilkins officiated.

"The Lord's Prayer" was sung by Eric Hudson, accompanied by Romaine Mahaffey, organist.

Serving as pallbearers were Dave Troegler, Albert Pulliam, Bob Moss, George St. Louis, Glenn Johnson, and Lawrence Powell.

Internment was in the Steamboat Springs Cemetery.

Grace Irene was born to Mr. and Mrs. James Woody Cantrell in Rocky Face, Georgia, December 15, 1899. She was united in marriage on June 6, 1926 to Rock Fuller in Steamboat Springs.

She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Star and was a graduate of the University of Arizona having also attended Rinehart College and University of Wyoming.

At the time of her death in Valdosta, Georgia on October 21, 1975, she was 75 years of age. Her husband, Rock preceeded her in death on March 2, 1963.

In addition to her daughter, Charlene Stees of Steamboat Springs, she leaves to mourn her passing 5 brothers, Avery Cantrell of Lafayette, Georgia, and James, Glen, Francis and Ferris Cantrell all of Rocky Face, Georgia and one sister Ernestine Zeigler of Valdosta, Georgia and 5 grandchildren.
