Peter George Lund of Portland, who died July 26 at age 49.

Peter George Lund was born Nov. 5, 1958, in Hinsdale, Ill. He graduated from Colorado College and earned a master's degree from the University of Arizona. He worked for PGT (later TransCanada), a natural gas pipeline company, in San Francisco and later Portland. In 1985, he married Susan.

Survivors include his sons, Sean and Kevin; stepson, Brian Stahl; parents, George and Alice; brother, John; and sister, Kristin Slowey.
