The Steamboat Pilot - October 22, 1936
Charles A. Hill passed away Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Trezevant, on Deep Creek. He had been ill for about six years following a stroke of paralysis. Funeral services were conducted at the Deep Creek school house Thursday afternoon. The Christian Science burial service was read by Mrs. Charles H. Leckenby. Interment was in the Deep Creek cemetery. He is survived by his wife and daughter. He was born at Fondulac, Wis., November 19, 1854. Mr. Hill had been a resident of Steamboat Springs for many years. He was bookkeeper for the Follett & Bradley real estate and insurance firm for a number of years. Recently he and his wife have been making their home with the Trezevants on Deep Creek.
