The world is a lesser place without
her joy and smile. Nichole
was very strong and brave. She
was a great sister, mother, and
aunt. She was our hero.
Nichole Marie Nave-Palmer was
born August 9, 1972, in Grand
Junction, Colorado. She passed
away at her home in Houston, Texas on Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Nichole moved to Houston when she was 18. She worked at Big
Johns as an assistant manager and bar tender. She enjoyed cooking
and “cook offs”, her two pets, Max and Cheeto, and collecting
Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.
Nichole will be sorely missed by her son, Skyler of Houston; three
brothers, Ronny Garringer, Monty Garringer, and Shawn Nave; and
three sisters, Shannon McKnight, Kelly Nave, and Cory Moore, all
of Grand Junction. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry
Nave; mother, Glenda Nave-Jones, and brother, Scotty Garringer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 10:00
a.m. at The Church On The Rock in Grand Junction. We will celebrate
Nichole’s life with a Potluck at Long Memorial Family Park
(3117 F Road) at 11:30 a.m.

Former Grand Junction resident Nichole
Marie Nave Palmer, 39, died April 19, 2012, in
Houston.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church
on the Rock, 2170 Broadway.
Survivors include one son, Skyler of Houston;
three brothers, Ronnie Garringer, Monty Garringer
and Shawn Nave; three sisters, Shannon
McKnight, Kelly Nave and Cory Moore, all of
Grand Junction.
