Jane Marie Welsh, 90,
Grand Junction, died Dec. 4,
2011, at Hospice Care Center in
Grand Junction.
Services will be 10:30 a.m.
Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic
Church. Burial will follow Veterans
Memorial Cemetery of
Western Colorado.
Survivors include three
daughters, Faith Welsh of
Grand Junction, Susan Welsh-
Smith of Ninilchik, Alaska and
Geralyn Walls of Downingtown,
Pa.; and two grandchildren.

Jane Welsh, age 90, of Grand
Junction, Colorado passed away
December 4, 2011 at the Hospice
Care Center. Jane was born and
raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She lived in Pennsylvania,
Anchorage, Alaska; Glenwood
Springs, Colorado, and Grand
Junction.
Jane was a former ice skating
and power skating instructor. She was especially proud of working
with the Philadelphia Flyers and the University of Alaska, Anchorage
ice hockey teams. She enjoyed downhill and cross country skiing,
biking, hiking, gardening and arts and crafts.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Arthur.
She is survived by three daughters, Faith, Susan and Geralyn, and
two granddaughters.
Jane's funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 9,
2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grand Junction,
Colorado. Jane will be buried with her husband at the Veterans Memorial
Cemetery of Western Colorado at 1:00 p.m.
