Carlee Satterfield, age 42, of
Parachute left this earthly world
behind and went to join her savior
on December 4, 2011 at Peach
Grove Rehab Center in Palisade.
Carlee was born August 23,
1969 in Rifle to Terry Satterfield
and Kay Pontius. She graduated
from high school in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Carlee enjoyed life, she
moved frequently between New Mexico and Colorado, spending the
last few years with her family here in Colorado. While she was in
New Mexico, she spent time with family and friends, and had a
great time going to the stock car races. Carlee's main love in life
were her horses and she was able to enjoy them, both in New
Mexico and Colorado. The last few years Carlee was always with
family and friends at Barrel Races & Ropings. She was a great fan
and cheered everyone on. Carlee was a member of FCC and attended
Assembly of God in Fruita. She will be loved always and
remembered forever.
Carlee was preceded in death by her grandparents, Della and Tom
Satterfield; Morris and Lou Pontius; Tom Jones, and Joe and Lois
James; and her Aunt Linda Waite.
She leaves behind her parents, Terry and Penny Satterfield and Kay
and Mike James; Grandma Alice; her brother, Bub (Christa) Satterfield;
sisters, Misty, Erica and Lacey Satterfield and Gina (Taylor)
Richardson. She was adored by her precious nieces and nephews
Quirt, Kayla, Kegan, Lacey, Sheldon, Bubba, Barbie, Charlese,
Trey, Sienna, Tyden, Roddy, Gage, Tomas, Grahm and Colston; and
many, many cousins, aunts and uncles.
Memorial Services are planned for Friday, December 9, 1:00 p.m.
at Light House Assembly of God Church in Battlement Mesa. Pastor
BJ Worthen will officiate.
Graveside services will be held in June.
