Abbie Kathryn McNutt, 90, of Grand Junction, passed away April
10, 2012, at Family Health West in Fruita.
Abbie was born in Vilas, Colorado, to Harry and Ruby Della (Mc-
Clintock) Walker. She was the tenth of 13 children. The family
moved to Delta County in 1937. She married John Riley McNutt in
1940. She had been a resident of Grand Junction for the past 16
years. Abbie was a beautician in Canon City before moving to the
western slope.
Grandma loved to dance and she never lost her sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by all her siblings, her husband, and one
son, Clarence Lee McNutt.
Survivors include a son, Gordon Riley (Dessa) McNutt of Grand
Junction; daughter-in-law, Carla McNutt of Clifton; grandchildren,
Cindy (Brian) Gambrel of Ft. Collins; Kara (Dan) O'Banion of Palisade;
Michelle Guthrie of Michigan, and Brian McNutt of Canon
City; 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday April 14th, at Palisade
Funeral Home. The family requests memorial contributions to be
made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Western Colorado.

Abbie K. McNutt, 90, died April 10, 2012, at Family Health West Nursing Home in Fruita. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Palisade Funeral Home with burial to follow at Palisade Cemetery. Survivors include one son, Gordon of Palisade.
