Ms. Ridenour-Eddy was a
homemaker.
Survivors include three sons,
Daryl of Laurel, Mont., Larry
of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Lewis
of Clifton; one daughter, Edris
Fogg of Fruita; one sister, Dorothy
Daily of Pagosa Springs; 12
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren
and one great-greatgrandchild.

Margaret Grace (Kerr) Ridenour
Eddy of Fruita, Colorado, passed
away on January 3, 2012, at Family
Health West. Services were
held on Friday, January 6, at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary. Burial
was at Eagalite Cemetery in Collbran.
Margaret was born on September 20, 1917, in Plateau Valley to
Robert and Pearl (Hightower) Kerr. She attended school in Collbran.
Margaret and Edwin Ridenour were married on September 5, 1934.
Edwin passed away on November 17, 1992. She married James
Eddy on September 9, 1995. Jim passed away in March of 2011. She
was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Collbran.
Margaret enjoyed her many grandchildren. She was a great card
player, challenging them at Shanghai, Tripoli and Pinochle. She
loved to dance. Her favorite was the Tennessee Waltz. She and Edwin
never missed a dance in Collbran. Margaret and Jim Eddy met
at a dance at the Older American Center in Grand Junction. Many
enjoyed her wonderful flower gardens in both Collbran and her
home in Grand Junction. Places of employment included Dixon's in
Grand Junction, wrapping butter at the Eckert Creamery and 15
years at Donna's in Collbran, serving the customers who came
through the store.
She is survived by her older sister, Dorothy Daily of Pagosa
Springs; three sons, Lewis (Caroline) of Clifton; Larry (Sally) of
Yorba Linda, California, and Daryl (Judy) of Laurel, Montana;
daughter, Edris Fogg of Fruita; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren,
and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her grandson, Kirk Ridenour on January 16, 1982.
