Dolores Ann Rhodes

Dolores Ann Rhodes, age 76,
passed away on Sunday, October
30, 2011 while being cared for at
Hospice and Palliative Care Center
of Western Colorado.
Dolores was born on October 19,
1935 to Lloyd and Edith Fowler
in Garden City, Kansas. She
moved to the Grand Valley in
1981 from Glenwood Springs,
CO.
Dolores loved spending time with her family and spent many hours
as a fundraiser for various friends, family and organizations. She
loved spending time outdoors, fishing, gardening, and most especially,
horses.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Edith
Fowler. She is survived by her daughters, Candy Fitzgerald and
Charity Jones, of Grand Junction, CO; four grandchildren, Kinsee,
Koedi, Tanner and Jacob; and one great-grandson, Noah.
There will be a memorial service in honor of Dolores' life held on
Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the River of Life Alliance Church,
701 24 1/ Road, Grand Junction, CO at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be
made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Western Colorado.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mesa Funeral Service
