After 65 years of full living followed
by five years of decline,
Bob passed out of his pain and
suffering from Parkinson's and
other neurological diseases on
New Year's Eve to greet the New
Year in a better place.
We in Grand Junction are
blessed to have such an exquisitely
beautiful and soulful place of
transition and peaceful passage as the Hospice Care Center.
Private Services of celebration of his life were held immediately
after his passing. He was deeply loved and lovingly cared for by his
wife, Carol, of 16 combined years. His friends will miss the special
flavors Bob brought to their lives, and to this world.
He joins his parents, and his beloved dog, Cheyenne who passed in
March and Gracie, his sweetheart dog, and all other friends and
animals, in a more peaceful space.
Covered by rose petals and Orchids, Bob was cremated at Martin
Mortuary. Sympathy cards may be sent to Martin Mortuary at 550
North Avenue, Grand Junction, CO 81501. You are invited to include
a funny or special memory. The cards will be added to his
memorial alter and answered soon by his wife, Carol, with more
details of his full life and passing. You may also include a phone
number if you wish for Carol to contact you at a later date.
We each handle grieving differently and eventually come to a celebration
of the fullness of a person's life. Thank you for understanding
my private grieving and celebration process.
