Jackie “Jack†Lee Roberts,
72, Fruita, died Jan. 20,
2012, at Hospice Care Center.
Services are pending through
Mesa Funeral Service.
Mr. Roberts was the founder
of Roberts-Hoffman Software
Inc.
Survivors include his wife,
Vickie; four sons, Jonathan of
Seattle, Jamey of Oxford, England,
Bradley of San Francisco,
and Larry of Tucson, Ariz.; one
sister, Judi Roberts of Glasgow,
Ky.; three grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild.

Jackie Lee Roberts, born March
6, 1939, in Kansas City, died Friday,
January 20, surrounded by
his family and sweetheart, Vickie.
Jack lived a full life, making a
p o s i t i v e i m p a c t o n a l l t h o s e
whose lives he touched. An insuppressible
entrepreneur, he cofounded
and ran multiple companies
throughout his years, most
recently Roberts/Hoffman Software, headquartered in Fruita. He
was always willing to share advice or well-timed witty banter and
encouragement for those who deserved it. His chivalrous nature
made him popular with the ladies and helped shape his sons into
gentlemen. He will be sorely missed by all of those fortunate enough
to know him.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Marguerite; his
father, Archie; his brother, Tom and his son, Monte. He is survived
by Vickie; sons, Larry (Travis), Jonathan (Aengjoo and Christina),
Bradley (Max), Jamey (Kate) and Matt; daughter, Erica (Erdem);
sister, Judi and lots of loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A community memorial will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012
at the Family Health West Senior Center's all-purpose room, 228 N.
Cherry, Fruita, CO at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations
in Jack's name to Family Health West, 228 N. Cherry, PO
Box 130, Fruita, CO 81521. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted
to Mesa Funeral Service.
