2012, at Palisades Living Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday
at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband,
Charles; two daughters,
Shelley Howard and Nicole
Lee, both of Grand Junction;
one brother, James T. Argys
of Montrose; one sister, Karen
Lloyd of Custer, S.D.; and two
grandchildren.

Grand Junction, lost her courageous
battle to Multiple Sclerosis
on Thursday, January 26, 2012, at
Palisades Living Center in Palisade,
Colorado.
Sharon was born to Ted and
Helen Argys in Salida, CO. She
attended school in Salida graduating with the class of 1974. After
graduation she went to work for Mountain Bell (now AT&T) as a
telephone operator transferring to Denver, CO in 1976 where she
met her husband, Charles. She and Charles were married on September
15, 1979. Charles and Sharon celebrated the birth of their
first daughter, Shelley, August of 1981 and the birth of their second
daughter, Nicole, May of 1985. Sharon spent her life devoted to
caring for her children and family.
Sharon enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music, going on walks,
animals, playing and winning at BINGO, and spending time with
her loved ones, especially her two granddaughters who were the joy
of her life. Sharon is best remembered by her friends and family for
being strong-willed, a fighter, compassionate, and having a very
positive outlook on everything. There was never a day Sharon didn't
have a smile on her face.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Charles Howard of Grand
Junction, CO; daughters, Shelley Howard and Nicole (Mark) Lee of
Grand Junction, CO; two granddaughters, Adelya and Kaydence
Lee; twin sister, Karen (Mike) Lloyd of Custer, SD; brother, Jim
Argys of Montrose, CO; mother- in-law, Nathalee Howard of
Northglenn, CO; sister-in-law, Virginia (Mickey) Moore of Broomfield,
CO; brother-in-law, Jim Howard of Northglenn, CO; many
nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death
by parents, Helen and Ted and brother, Russell LuWayne Argys.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday, January 30, 2012, at
11:00 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of
Western Colorado.
