Rick was born in Grand Junction,
Colorado to Gerald and
Lovella Monger. He traveled a lot
with his job, but to him home was
always in Grand Junction.
He loved the outdoors, hunting,
fishing, camping, boating, and
riding his Harley. He also loved
spending time with his grandsons.
He never missed a football game
and was there for them every day after school when they got off the
bus.
Rick is survived by his mom, Lovella Monger, age 86; brothers,
Calvin, age 68 (Debbie); Troy Monger, age 66 (Nina); daughter,
Andrea Duran, age 43, and four grandchildren, Brittany Duran, age
21; Chandra LaMarr, age 19; Cody Eckley, age 11, and Dusty Eckley,
age 9.
Rick was a son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather,
and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12th at 10:00 a.m.
at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Rickie “Rick” Monger, 61, Grand Junction, died May 5, 2012,
at Delta County Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary
with burial to follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Andrea Duran of Grand Junction;
his mother, Lovella Monger of Grand Junction; two brothers,
Calvin of Austin, Texas, and Troy of Montrose; and four grandchildren.
