Dr. Robert Allen Jensen died
unexpectedly at his home November
8th, 2011. Bob was an
avid bicyclist, poetry lover, and
bread baker.
Bob was born July 4, 1949 in
Breckenridge, Minnesota. His
family moved to Denver in 1954
where Bob graduated from Regis
High School in 1968. Bob married
Teresa Kottenstette in 1974 and finished his medical studies in
1981 at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri
(A.T. Still University). He and his family lived in Yuma, Colorado,
Nachotta, Washington, and Grand Junction. Bob and Teresa divorced
in 2005. In 2010 he married Glenda Neff and remained in the
Grand Junction area. Bob worked for Primary Care Partners at the
after hours clinic known as Docs on Call.
Bob served this community for 20 years as a physician and friend.
Bob believed in giving and was a generous donor to A.T. Still University
as well as many local and international foundations. Bob was
loved and admired for his care and professionalism.
Bob is survived by his wife Glenda; his daughter and son-in-law,
Eleanor and Jeffrey Stine; his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and
Melissa Jensen; Glenda's sons, Jim and Joseph Neff and grandchildren,
Brooklyn and Carter Neff, and many other loved ones.
Services for Bob will be held at Martin Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. Saturday,
November 12, 2011. A visitation will be held on Friday, November
11, 2011 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
