John Haining, 83, of Grand
Junction, CO passed away from
an unexpected death on May 11,
2012.
John was born April 4, 1929, to
John and Clara (Osterloh) Haining
in Culbertson, NB.
He was founder and co-owner of
Haining Plumbing & Heating,
which just celebrated 40 years in
the business. John had been a resident of Grand Junction for 64
years. He was a past president of the Grand Mesa Little League and
was a member of the Knife and Fork Club. He enjoyed watching his
grandchildren in Special Olympics and 4-H,and loved watching the
Broncos and Rockies sports teams.
John married Darlene Miller on June 21, 1953 at the First United
Methodist Church in Grand Junction.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Ken (Karen) and David
(Caren) Haining; a daughter Debbie (Terry) Blevens; two brothers,
Harold and Bob; a sister, Norma Baker; and six grandchildren, Julie
and Eric Blevens, Scott and Amy Haining, and Curt and Chad
Haining.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 at First United Methodist
Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mesa County 4-H Foundation
(scholarships), P.O. Box 4828, Grand Junction, CO 81502.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at
First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Haining was the owner of Haining
Plumbing & Heating.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene;
two sons, David of Greeley and Ken of
Mexico; one daughter, Debbie Blevins of
Grand Junction; two brothers, Harold of
Delta and Bob of Denver; one sister, Norma
Barker; and six grandchildren.
