Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine BURNETT were held Monday afternoon at the Presbyterian Church in Minturn. Mrs. BURNETT passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Howard MOORE on January 11, 1963 at the age of 67.
Catherine LYNCH was born in Minnesota September 22, 1895. She lived as a child on the ranch her parents homesteaded near Gold Park in the Red Cliff area.
Her husband, J. D. (Dod) BURNETT, preceded her in death. They had made their home and raised their family in Minturn.
Funerl services were conducted Monday in the Minturn Presbyterian Church by Rev. Lawrence JONES. Pallbearers were Frank SANDERS, Harvey CLINE, Clem MORELAND, Emmett FLAHERTY, W. L. LEDDY and Al ORLOSKY. Funeral music was provided by Mesdames Kathryn OWEN, Mae FLAHERTY and Ethel BAYER.
Mrs. BURNETT had been ill for several months. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bernice MOORE; two sons, Wm. and Harold, all of Minturn; a sister, Caroline TAGUE of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, Marlyn TATHAM, Mike MOORE, Terry Ann BURNETT and Billy J. LAVATO all of Minturn and two great-grandchildren: James and Mike LAVATO.
