Betty Jo Weber, 90, Grand

Larchwood Inns.
Services will take place at 1
p.m. Friday at Martin Mortuary,
followed by a reception at the
Clifton VFW Hall.
Mrs. Weber owned Betty Jo’s
Beauty Salon in Palisade.
Survivors include her husband,
Ernest; two daughters,
Carol Brown of Grand Junction
and Kathy English of Delta; a
brother, Jack Pollard of Grand
Junction; two sisters, Emma Lou
Bruner of Grand Junction and
Ramona Jane Bailey of Cottage
Grove, Ore.; three grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.

Betty Jo Weber passed away at
Larchwood Inns in Grand Junction,
Colorado, on January 30,
2012. She was born October 9,
1921, in Seiling, Oklahoma, to
Raymond and Martha Pollard.
She was 90 years old.
Betty was married to the late Leslie
Homer Fales and through this
u n i o n h a d o n e d a u g h t e r t h e y
named Carol. After Leslie's passing, Betty met and married Mr.
Ernest Weber. Through this union she inherited another daughter,
Kathy. She and Ernest have shared the last 38 years together.
Betty has been a member of the Palisade community for over 50
years. She owned and operated Betty Jo's Beauty Salon. Betty was a
lifetime member of VFW Post 4663, and enjoyed fishing, camping,
bowling, baking rolls and banana pancakes for her family and tending
to her garden.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, and two brothers,
Glen and Allen Pollard. She is survived by her husband, Ernest
Weber of Grand Junction; her daughters, Carol (John) Brown of
Grand Junction, Colorado and Kathy (Bill) English of Delta, Colorado;
one brother, Jack (Reva) Pollard of Grand Junction, Colorado,
and two sisters, Emma Lou (Harold) Bruner of Grand Junction,
Colorado, and Ramona Jane (Bill) Bailey of Cottage Grove, Oregon.
She also leaves behind grandchildren, Eric Brown, Jason Brown,
and Lynn Fellet, and great-grandchildren, Dakotah, Ethan, and Justin
Brown, and Payton and Landon Fellet.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held Friday, February 3, 2012,
at Martin Mortuary starting at 1:00 p.m.
