Born and raised in Green Island, N.Y., Ann Marie lived in the Boston area and Cincinnati, Ohio, throughout her husband's career with General Electric before making Fairfield their home. Ann Marie enjoyed skiing at her family's vacation home in Beaver Creek, and she traveled the world.

Staying in touch with her family and friends was very important to Ann Marie. She was a gracious host, and often entertained those she loved for holiday gatherings and special occasions. She maintained many longtime friendships with fellow members of Black Rock Yacht Club, the Vail 50 Club, and St. Pius X Church. She was a strong supporter of the Running Strong for American Indian Youth, which helps Native American people meet their immediate survival needs — food, water, and shelter — while implementing and supporting programs designed to create opportunities for self-sufficiency.

Ann Marie loved her family members and was proud of each one. She felt truly blessed for the many wonderful experiences she shared with them and her friends.
