TERRY B. WALKER, 1948-2012. Terry WALKER, 63, is survived by his mother, Patricia DAUM; brother, Rick DAUM; sister, Susan (Jim) WATTS; nieces, Betsy and Abby; and many more grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He is also survived by his golf buddy Rob HALL. They played together three days a week. As a former Hudson, Ohio, resident, Terry moved to the Vail Valley in the mid 1980s. He was an avid skier and golfer, and he loved to hike and work out.
Terry started his own painting company when he first came to the valley. He was truly a perfectionist and became known as Mr. Meticulous. He than gave up painting and took over a home management company, 5 Star Management, upon which he built a comfortable clientele base and worked until his last day, when he collapsed suddenly from the result of heart failure.
There will be a celebration at Terry's home in Eagle-Vail, 48 Bear Court, on Aug. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m. He was one of the truly nice guys and he will be greatly missed.
