Patricia A. Bradley Spindler,
72, Delta, died Feb. 14, 2012,
at Grand Villa Assisted Living.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday
at Callahan-Edfast.
Survivors include her husband,
Robert; two daughters,
Darlene Ficklin and Deb Wieker,
both of Grand Junction;
her mother, Juanita Johnson
of Stagecoach, Nev.; five brothers,
Bill Johnson of Arizona,
Jack Johnson of Arkansas, Jim
Johnson of Canon City, Dave
Johnson of Idaho and Gary
Johnson of Stagecoach; four
sisters, Caroline Maraggos of
Carson City, Nev., and Janyce
Myers, Vickie Detloff and Linda
“Suzie” Kinkead, all of Stagecoach;
four grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild.

Patricia passed away February
14, 2012, in Grand Junction,
Colorado.
During her life Pat was involved
in many community organizations
such as the Eagles Lodge,
Western Colorado Communications
Inc., Western Slope Snowskippers Assoc. and also as a Girl
Scout leader. She spent the majority of her working career as an accounting
clerk, retiring from Union Carbide / Umetco Minerals in
1986.
Pat was born in Ogallala, Nebraska on July 20, 1939, to Ivan and
Juanita Johnson. On Valentines Day 1957, she became engaged to
the love of her life, Lewis "Bud" Bradley; they were married on
February 25, 1957. After living in the Denver metro area, they
moved here to the Western Slope (Grand Junction area) in December
of 1961.
Pat and Bud were separated for a short while when Bud passed
away on February 27, 2005, just two days after celebrating their
48th wedding anniversary. It is bitter-sweet that they will once again
be back together in February!
After Buds' passing, Pat was extremely lonely and married Robert
Spindler in September 2008. A union, that was for companionship
for both she and Bob who was also widowed from the love of his
life.
Pat is survived by two daughters, Darlene Ficklin (Dean) and Deb
Wieker (Rick); four grandchildren, Colleen Ficklin, Deanne Larsen
(Noah), Dawn Wieker, and Jessica Pritchett (Josh), and one
great-grandchild, Daphne Pritchett, all of Grand Junction. Pat is also
survived by her mother, Juanita Johnson of Stagecoach, NV; brothers,
Bill Johnson of AZ; Jack Johnson (Judy) of AR; Jim Johnson
(Tammie) of CO; David Johnson (BK) of ID, and Gary Johnson of
NV; sisters, Carolyn Maraggos (Bill) of NV; Janyce Myers (Chris)
of NV; Vickie Detloff (Leland) of NV, and Linda Sue Kinkead (Richard)
also of NV. Pat also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and
cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; her father, Ivan,
and siblings, Donald, Larry and Barbara Gohn. Additional special
people in her life that have been waiting for Pat to join them in the
hereafter are her great-grandson, Daryn Pritchett, Mary and Gale
Rice, and Cecil and Grace Bradley.
We love you! Rest Peacefully.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday February 20,
2012, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction.
