CORONER IDENTIFIES BODY FOUND IN EAGLE RIVER.
Eagle County Coroner Kara BETTIS has identified the body found in the Eagle River on Saturday as 40-year-old Stephanie BRANTLEY, of Gypsum.
The cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. The manner of death is still under investigation. BRANTLEY was spotted by a fisherman on the river behind the Gypsum Wastewater Treatment Facility. The Eagle County Sheriff's Office, Gypsum Fire Protection District and Eagle County Ambulance District recovered her body.
