Jeanie Crocker June 16, 1953 – September 25, 2012
Jeanie Crocker, age 59, recent resident of Steamboat Springs and
longtime resident of Eagle, Colorado, died on September 25, 2012,
after a long illness. She passed peacefully in her sleep while visiting
her daughter in Grand Teton National Park. She was born June 16,
1953, in Denver to Ronald and Hilda Leeper. She grew up in Denver
with her sister, Jane. Jeanie married Jon Crocker on September 21st,
1985, in Parshall, Colorado. Jeanie dedicated her life to her family.
She was a devoted an d loving mother to her two daughters, Ellie and
Molly. She also had an exceptional talent for creating hand-made
collectables, and working in her gardens; she could bring beauty to all
her surroundings. She was as selfless to others as she was to her family
and will be remembered for her immeasurable kindness and giving.
After raising her daughters in Eagle, she moved to Grand Junction
where she spent time with relatives, volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital
with her eldest daughter, Ellie, and created a beautiful garden.
She moved to Steamboat Springs this summer after her illness progressed.
Jeanie is survived by her husband, Jon Crocker; her daughter,
Molly Crocker; her sister, Jane Lokan; her stepmother, Bettye
Leeper; her lifetime best friend, Caroline Wellford, and numero us
other family and friends. She is recently predeceased by her daughter,
Ellie Crocker.
A casual private service will be held in Jeanie's honor, Sunday,
September 30th at 2:00 p.m. in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Please

Jeanie Crocker, 59, recent resident of Steamboat Springs and longtime resident of Eagle, died Tuesday after a long illness. She passed peacefully in her sleep while visiting her daughter in Grand Teton National Park.
