Constance “Connie” Rene Archuleta,
35, Fruita, died May 8, 2012, at her home.
A rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Fruita.
Services will be 11 a.m. June 16 at the
church.
Ms. Archuleta was a waitress.
Survivors include her son, Derek E. of
Fruita; her parents, Larry J. and Lorraine
Archuleta of Fruita; two sisters, Victoria
Archuleta of Fruita and Natalie Archuleta
of Denver.

Constance "Connie" Rene Archuleta,
35, passed away at her
home in Fruita, CO, on May 8.
She will be greatly missed by
her son, Derek Archuleta (5); parents,
Larry and Lorraine Archuleta;
sisters, Victoria and Natalie
Archuleta; nephew, Antonio Archuleta;
grandparents, Ralph Archuleta and Millie Guerrero, and
numerous close relatives.
Connie was born in Grand Junction and graduated from GJHS in
1995. She was a talented pianist, enjoyed cooking, and was most
happy when serving people while working in the food industry as a
waitress. Her quest to experience life away from her hometown took
her on many adventures in her early twenties. She loved her "Baby
Doll" Derek and was looking forward to his kindergarten year. Connie
spent many days beading jewelry and became quite the hit with
her designs. She will be remembered as a truly unique individual,
blunt, charismatic, charming, and a true friend to the many lives she
touched.
A memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Fruita on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with internment at
Elmwood Cemetery. Her torment is over and she now rests in the
arms of Our Savior. The Archuleta family gratefully acknowledges
the many prayers that are helping them through this great sorrow.
