James A. "Brick" BURNETT died in the Salida Hospital Oct. 25 at the age f 64 years. He was born in Florence, Colo. April 11, 1900 and was a locomotive engineer for the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad.
Mr. BURNETT and Lily HAMILTON were married February 27,1932 at Eagle and are former residents of Minturn, moving to Salida in 1942. Mr. BURNETT had been in the hospital two years.
Funeral services were held at Stewart Mortuary in Salida and burial was in Salida.
He is survived by his wife; his stepmother, Mrs. Bonnie BURNETT of Pueblo; two daughters, Mrs. Aletha ALBER of Salida and Mrs. Peggy COVEY of Idaho Springs; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Earl of Salida and Max of Grand Juntion and sisters: Mrs. Mary MORRISON, Salida; Mrs. Emma BONDURANT, of Kirkland, Wash. and Mrs. Leonora MARTIN, Pueblo.
