Steven G. Sahm, age 67, of
Grand Junction, died December
12, 2011, at his home.
He was born in Lockport, NY on
October 28, 1944, the son of Edwin
and June Sahm.
He was in the U.S. Navy and
then went into the US Air Force
where he retired. He acted in the
Senior’s Theater, he was Deacon
of his church and was a local photographer. He also volunteered at
the Veteran’s Hospital.
He is survived by his sister, Gloria (Ronald) Mitchell of Gary, IN;
two brothers, Michael of Gary, and William (Cheryl) of Hammond,
IN, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Allen of Gary, IN,
and daughter, Denise of New Mexico.
In respect to his memory, there will be a committal ceremony at the
Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery on May 29, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. with
Pastor Chuck Jerome of Covenant Presbyterian Church on 32 Road.
We will then go to the church to celebrate Steven’s life at 4:00 p.m.

Steven G. Sahm, 66, Grand Junction, died Dec. 12, 2011, at his
home.
Services will be at 3 p.m. May 29 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery
of Western Colorado.
Mr. Sahm was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a photographer.
Survivors include two brothers, Michael of Gary, Ind., and William
of Hammond, Ind.; and one sister, Gloria Mitchell of Gary.
