Alvin Roger “Ace” Winter, 87, Rifle, died April 21, 2012, at the
Veterans Affairs Nursing Home in Rifle.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran
Church in Rifle. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church,
followed by burial at Battlement Mesa Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys; one daughter, MaryAnn; one
brother, Jake Winter; one sister, Ann Patterson; two stepgrandchildren;
seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
