Robert LeRoy Ruth, Sr. was
born on November 30, 1918, in
Adair, Iowa to Clabe Bernard and
Mary Magdalyn (Wahe) Ruth. He
received his vocational certificate
for Operating Engineers.
Robert enjoyed fishing and tinkering,
and was a member of the
Ma s o n i c O r d e r , R o y a l A r c h ,
Eastern Star, and the International
Union of Operating Engineers Local #9.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Carolyn Ruth of Grand Junction;
son, Robert L. Ruth, Jr. of Grand Junction; daughter, Carol Ann
Traynor of Fruita; four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at
the First Christian Church at 1:00 p.m.
