February 29th, a cloudy downcast
day; the clouds parted, the
sun shone down, and a beautiful
spirit went to heaven, greeted
with open arms by her husband,
Charles Arnett; her parents, Lloyd
a n d M a r y L o u W i l s o n ; h e r
brother-in-law, John Hillewaert
and her grandson, Kevin Zacheriah
Arnett.
Lloydia Lois Wilson was born in Denver on March 16, 1934, the
second child of Loyd and Mary Lou. The family moved to Craig
when she was young. Lloydia lived in Craig for the rest of her life.
She married Charles Arnett and raised three children. She loved
fishing, cutting up deer and elk meat, “Days of our Lives”, her dogs
and she was the Broncos number one fan.
She was a waitress for over 50 years at various restaurants in Craig.
She worked at the Golden Cavvy for 28 years. Lloydia was known
for her dangling earrings and great smile. She was everyone’s
friend.
She leaves behind her family that loves her deeply, sister, Mary
Lou Hillewaert, and brother, Ron (Bonnie) Wilson, all of Craig; son,
Tom (Marchelle) Arnett of Superior; daughters, Lori (Troy) Goodson
of Clifton, CO, and Vicki (JJ) Plummer of Fruita, CO; 12 grandchildren,
Chanda Arnett of Lahunta, CO; Tino Arnett of Idaho;
Miyoko and Mariko Arnett of Superior, CO; Jeremiah Goodson of
Switzerland; Chance and Derrick Goodson of Clifton, CO; Levi
Goodson of Grand Junction; Trisha Davis of West Virginia, and
Colleen, Tiffany, and Carrie O’Brien of Fruita, CO; nine
great-grandchildren, Hunter, Briley, Alexus, Charles, Nevaeh, Richard,
Raven, Caden, and Shyla.
In honor of Lloydia, dangling earrings and Bronco apparel were
worn at her services March 6th at Journey First Baptist Church in
Craig. Leanard Browning officiated.
Heavenly Father, Please give our precious mother a thousand
kisses on this day. Whisper softly these words we want to say, “We
love and miss you each and every passing day”. Love, Tom, Lori,
and Vicki.
