Grand Junction, died March 10,
2012, at Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday
at St. Paul Evangelical
Church.
Survivors include two sons,
Vestal Clay Jr. of Colorado
Springs and Mike Radeck of
Clifton; one daughter, Lola Radeck
of Clifton; five grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.

Vestal Clay Park, Sr., age 76, passed away on Saturday, March 10,
2012 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Western Colorado.
He was born on July 9, 1935 to Bobby Ray and Ruby Bertner Park
in Portales, New Mexico, and spent his childhood between De-
Beque and Colorado Springs. He attended the Blind School in
Colorado Springs, CO.
Vestal enjoyed spending time with his family, bowling and taking
road trips and admired the railway system.
Vestal is survived by his son, Vestal Clay Park, Jr, of Colorado
Springs, CO; his daughter, Lola (Mike) Radeck, of Clifton, CO; his
sisters, Judy Micham, of Mountain Grove, MS and Velta Thompson,
of Grand Junction, CO; his five grandchildren, April, Katie,
Stephanie, Michaela and Zachary and 4 great-grandchildren. He is
preceded in death by his twin brother, Virgil Park, brothers Truman,
Travis and Gail Park; his sisters, Veida Dodson and Bobbie Jo
Reader; his two former wives, Louise Elsie Carter Park and Patricia
Jean High Park.
There will be a memorial service celebrating Vestal's Life on Saturday,
March 17, 2012 at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church,
632 26 1/2 Road, Grand Junction, CO at 2:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements
have been entrusted to Mesa Funeral Service.
