Barbara, age 75 - mother, sister,
aunt - passed away on Tuesday,
March 13, 2012, while at Mesa
Manor.
Barbara was born in Walsenburg,
CO to William and Esther
Bressan. The family moved to
Grand Junction when she was 7
years old and she resided in Grand
Junction until her death. Barbara
attended Lowell Grade School,
the Junior High School on Chipeta
and graduated from Grand
Junction High School in 1954.
She began working as a telephone
operator at the Mountain
Bell Building on 7th Street. She
was promoted to the business office
and remained there until her
retirement.

SHE WAS A CLASSY LADY!
Barbara was a caregiver for both of her parents, who preceded her
in death, William in 1996 and Esther in 1998. Barbara's brother,
Robert Bressan, also preceded her in death in 2004.
She is survived by her son, Tony (Shelley) Taylor of Grand Junction,
CO; her sister, Darlene Green, of Grand Junction, CO; nieces,
Darshay, of Denver, CO and Dina (Doug), of California; her grandsons,
Justin, Dylan and Jordan, all of Grand Junction, CO; her great
nephews, Nik, of Arizona and Jeff of California and Tony of
Illinois.
Per Barbara's request, there will be no memorial services and in
lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Grand Junction
Veteran's Medical Center in memory of her brother, Robert Bressan.
I would like to thank the staff at Mesa Manor and Hospice and
Palliative Care of Western Colorado for providing such wonderful
care for my sister. Thank you also to Barbara's friends at Walnut
Park - they kept her supplied with Twinkies and other necessities.
