Kenneth Arnold Arensmeyer,
69, Grand Junction,
died March 15, 2012, at Hospice
Care Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m.
March 31 at Redlands United
Methodist Church.
Mr. Arensmeyer was a parts
manager in the automobile industry.
Survivors include his wife,
Alvona; one son, Kevin of Crowley,
Texas; two daughters, Patricia
Arensmeyer and Cheryl
Gaines, both of Grand Junction;
two brothers, Edward of
Cutbank, Mont., and Arthur of
Carneys Point, N.J.; one sister,
Eunice Hall of Seattle; and five
grandchildren.

Kenneth “Ken” A. Arensmeyer
entered peacefully into Heaven
March 15th, 2012. He was 69
years of age.
Ken was born in Choteau, MT to
Reinhardt John William Arensme
y e r a n d E t h e l Ma r y ( A g e e )
Arensmeyer. He graduated from
Choteau High School in 1961. Ken attended Hanson Mechanical
School in Fargo, ND. In July, 1964, he married Joyce Ellen Arensmeyer,
moved to Colorado and raised three children in Grand Junction.
1986 Joyce and Ken adopted their granddaughter, Kacey. He
worked as a Parts Manager for Western Slope Ford, until 1987. He
continued his career at O'Meara Ford Center in Denver, CO. as their
Parts Manager from 1989 until his retirement in February 2008. Ken
was recognized throughout his career with several awards from
1978-2008, Outstanding Performance in Parts Management, Manager
of the year, President's Award, Ford Collision Parts sales, Excellence
in Wholesale Parts Operations, Excellence in Parts Management
and Customer Service Satisfaction, Top 50 Power Stroke
Diesel Parts Sales, Ford Premier Top 100 Club, Top 25 of all Ford
Parts Departments in the US. In his personal time he enjoyed
camping, fishing, traveling, hiking, and movies with his family and
friends. He has left an AMAZING legacy and will be truly missed
by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Ken moved back to Grand Junction with Alvona K. (Nielson)
Arensmeyer, married May, 2011. They enjoyed traveling, walks,
sight seeing, children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley, and
brother, Gary Arensmeyer.
Kenneth is survived by his sister, Eunice (Arensmeyer) Hall of
WA; brothers, Arthur Arensmeyer, NJ, and Edward Arensmeyer
(Sheila), MT; son, Kevin Arensmeyer of TX; daughters, Cheryl
(Cherlyn-Arensmeyer) Gaines, Patricia Arensmeyer of CO, and
Kacey Arensmeyer of CO; sister-in-law, Doris Arensmeyer of AL;
five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Celebration of Life Services will be at Redlands United Methodist
Church, Grand Junction, CO, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 11:00
a.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Callahan-Edfast Mortuary
& Crematory.
