Angie was born in Oakland, CA
and through various moves, made
her way to all of us here in Grand
Junction, where she lived the
majority of her life.
After attending Central High,
she attended American Beauty
College, graduating in 1986, and
was a stellar cosmetologist in
great demand up to the day she
passed. Angie worked her fingers to the bone everyday of her life!
Whatever job she could find, sometimes four at a time, she was always
giving, always smiling, accepting whatever came at her with
the enthusiasm we should all have.
Hopefully, you were privileged to know her. She was a mother to
so many but still as giving of herself to each and everyone as if they
were the pinnacle of her entire existence.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel Jackson; daughters, Mikki
Jans, Kristina Myers, and Crystal Chavez; sons, Robert Jackson,
Tray (Darcy) Baker, Benjamin Jackson, and James Jackson; brother,
Steven Rhoads, and eight grandchildren.
She dearly loved spending time fishing with her kids, dancing,
reading, cooking the best food for everybody, and playing softball.
More than her love for her job at Berkleys Upper Cuts, she unconditionally
loved her family and all of her friends, always there to lend
a hand. Ever so humble, she had a smile and a laugh unmatched,
with a kind heart and an unyielding passion to give. This world has
lost a soul as precious as any. She will be dearly missed by all of us,
but remembered fondly in all of our hearts. Rev 21: 3 & 4
Memorial services are May 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary.
