Arla Schmalz, 92, Delta, died March 27, 2012, at Delta County
Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at St. Michael’s Catholic Church
in Delta. Burial will follow in the Olathe Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Ray and Chad, both of Olathe; five
daughters, Marlene Abbott of Worland, Wyo., Rebecca Borg of La
Mesa, Calif., Julie Fitzgerald of Flagstaff, Ariz., Joan Kessler of
Montrose and Ramona Wall of Cedaredge; three sisters, Marilyn
Cox of Montrose, Edra Moore of Lancaster, Calif., and Bonnie Petrafeso
of Lakewood; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
