Roberta BURRIS of Gypsum, died on Dec. 3 at her home in Gypsum.
Roberta was born in Gilman, Colo. on June 28, 1945, to Rickwell ZIEMER and Maude (Woods) ZIEMER. She spent her childhood in Minturn, and was a graduate of Battle Mountain High School.
She was a resident of Minturn until 1967, when she married Richard BURRIS on Feb. 2, 1967. They made their home in Gypsum.
Roberta was a housewife and mother who enjoyed her children, grandchildren, car racing and reading.
Mrs. BURRIS is survived by her husband, Richard, of Gypsum, a son, Paul BURRIS of Crawford, Colo., and daughter Lolene (Jerry) CARTER of Golden, Colo. Other survivors include brothers Robert ZIEMER, of Canon City, Colo. and Rodney ZIEMER, of Colorado Springs; sisters Ronita SIEBERT of Nebraska and Carrie SWAYGER of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Joseph, Mea and Rock; and many friends.
Services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Gypsum Methodist Church at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Pete MEESE officiating. Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum following the service.
