BELDON H. BUSH.
B. H. (Joe) BUSH, former Edwards rancher passed away in his sleep at Glenwood Springs July 10. Mr. BUSH's death was unexpected and a shock to his family. His wife, Elizabeth, died two months ago in a Glenwood hospital, following an operation.
Beldon H. BUSH was born in Butler, Ind. Nov. 17, 1888, he married Miss Elizabeth MAXSON of Gypsum September 4, 1915 and to this union were born five children.
Mr. BUSH farmed near Crested Butte before moving to Gypsum, then was employed by the Empire Zinc Company for seven years before buying a ranch at Edwards, where the family lived until recently, when Mr. and Mrs. BUSH moved to Henderson near Denver, residing there when Mrs. BUSH became ill this spring and returned to the Western Slope to enter the Glenwood hospital, where she died in May.
Mr. BUSH is survived by his five children, Mrs. Mat DALEY, Fort St. James, British Columbia, Canada; Mrs. Lee ELLIOTT, Oak Grove, Ore.; Mrs. Ervin TERRY, Edwards; Bill BUSH, Montana, and Carl BUSH, Henderson, and one sister, Mrs. Faye MILLER of Auburn, Ind. and one brother, Carl of Enid, Okla. 16 grandchildren also survive.
Services were in the Methodist church in Glenwood July 14, with Rev. Henry BAKER officiating. Burial was in Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood and pall bearers were Harry DEEMS, Dan DENTON and Ben FRAZIER, all of Denver; Charlie TERRY, Paul SCHULTZ of Edwards and Alvin OULD of Glenwood Springs.
