Linda Lee Cooper, 64, Fruita, died June 30, 2012, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Ms. Cooper was a secretary for School District 51.
Survivors include her husband, Jim D.; one son, Eric Knechtel of
Grand Junction; one daughter, Kimberly Lin Bailey of Dove Creek;
one brother, Dan Preecs of the Phillipines; and 14 grandchildren.

Linda Lee Cooper passed away
June 30, 2012, at her home in
Fruita, Colorado.
She was born August 30, 1947,
in Kingman, Kansas. She graduated
from Arvada West High
School in 1965, and moved to
Grand Junction in 1997, where

Donald “Coop” Cooper, in 2001.
Linda loved her family, dogs, and horses.
She is survived by her husband, Coop; two children, Eric Knechtel
of Grand Junction, CO, and Kimberly Bailey of Dove Creek, CO, as
well as 14 grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
Linda Cooper Memorial Fund at the Grand Junction Federal Credit
Union, 910 Main St., Grand Junction, CO 81501 to assist the family
with funeral costs.
